On April 27, 2002 about 10 TARS and over 850 people showed up to the Governor's Barbeque hosted by the Saint Lucie County Republican Executive Committee.
The TARS worked by directing traffic and running errands. They also met many prominent officials including US Rep. Mark Foley, FLORIDA GOVERNOR JEB BUSH.State Senator Ken Pruitt and State Representative Gayle Harrell. Teenage Republican Anthony Bonna has even appeared in the photos on the Road section at http://jeb.org.
